Hey everyone! If it’s Tuesday, it’s featured rooms day. Without further ado, let’s take a look at what’s been featured in Rec Room VR this week. There are some seriously amazing worlds to explore, so let’s dive straight in!

🏡 Mansion Mates

The first room we’re diving into is Mansion Mates, and honestly, it’s already so cool from the moment you arrive. There are some beautiful trees, fireflies, and this awesome cosy house that immediately sets the tone. Heading inside, there’s some fun music playing and even a little share screen set up, which is a really nice touch. Heading back outside reveals the most detailed boat you’ll ever see in a Rec Room world — the scenery throughout this room is absolutely stunning. After a close look around, it seems like the build style might be Studio rather than Make-a-Ben, but either way, this room is super cool and absolutely worth a visit.

😱 Deadline 10

Now, fair warning — the next room, Deadline 10, is a horror experience, and I’ll be honest, horror is not exactly my strong suit! From the moment you load in, you’re greeted by a seriously tall and creepy figure with a cool moving setup all around you. The atmosphere is incredible, with everything from the characters to the roof seeming to shift and move. It’s set up as a full story experience with an Act One, where you ready up with friends and launch into the game together. The story kicks off with a human safety alert about a deadly new virus breaking out in the area, which sets an eerie tone right from the start. Things escalate quickly — there’s a countdown, plenty of jump scares, and some genuinely terrifying moments. I’ll admit I didn’t last long before meeting my end, but if you’re braver than I am, Deadline 10 is an impressive and well-crafted horror world that’s definitely worth checking out!

🚂 Spectra Train

Next up is a room called Spectra Train (apologies if I’m saying that wrong!), and from the moment you arrive, it looks absolutely amazing. There’s a stunning train right in front of you, surrounded by beautiful particles drifting through the air, windmills, and trees stretching out across the landscape. The scenery in this room is on another level entirely, and even the tiny atmospheric particles floating around add such a gorgeous touch to the whole environment. I’ll be transparent — at the time of filming, I wasn’t entirely sure what I was supposed to be doing, so I ended up running forward without a clear destination. Even so, this room is genuinely breathtaking, and I’d highly recommend visiting it just to soak in the incredible atmosphere and visuals.

🐱 Lowi Cat Cafe

Okay, this one might just be my favourite of the week — Lowi Cat Cafe is absolutely delightful! From the moment you join, you’re greeted by adorable cats everywhere you look. You can even sit in little cat-themed seats and explore a beautifully decorated café space. There are daily rewards, a treat-based economy for purchasing items, and some incredibly cute details throughout — including a tiny cat running on a little cat wheel and a robot cat you can interact with. The room also features pillows, outfits you can try on, a little ice cream stand, and all sorts of charming decorations that make you want to stay forever. The creators have done a wonderful job building a warm and welcoming space, and I genuinely could have spent so much more time exploring every little corner. If you love cats and cosy vibes, this room is an absolute must-visit!

🛹 Skate Legends

Last but certainly not least, we wrapped up the week with Skate Legends, and it did not disappoint. Heading straight to the park, you grab a little skateboard and get rolling — holding the board gets you moving, and clicking lets you navigate around the skate park. I’ll admit things got a little chaotic when my character temporarily lost a nose mid-session, and the spray cans were a touch broken, but the overall experience was a whole lot of fun. Skating around the park, flying up ramps, and just messing around with the mechanics made for a really enjoyable final stop for the week.

Final Thoughts

And that’s a wrap on this week’s featured Rec Room VR worlds! We had a cosy mansion, a terrifying horror experience, a breathtaking train landscape, the most adorable cat café, and a super fun skate park — all in one week. There were a couple more featured rooms we didn’t quite get to due to time, but make sure you dive in and explore them all for yourself. Have an awesome day, everyone, and I’ll see you next Tuesday for more featured rooms!
