Hey everybody, it’s Under My Cap and welcome back to another video! Today we’re diving into this week’s featured rooms in Rec Room. If you’d like to watch the full video, you can check it out here: Featured Rooms Rec Room Reviews. Without further ado, let’s get straight into it! The first room we’re checking out this week is Mini Empire. Loading into the map, I was immediately blown away by the whole environment on display. It turns out you can actually build within this little world, which is incredibly cool. There’s a full construction mechanic where you place structures down and watch everything come to life. The characters are tiny and move surprisingly fast, which just adds to the charm of the whole experience. It’s a really impressive room and a fantastic way to kick things off this week. Next up is Gondor, and wow — this one is something special. The style of the trees alone is absolutely stunning, and walking through the environment is a real treat. There’s even a little map and a credits section built right into the room, which is a super awesome touch. I spotted a little building up on the hill and just had to go and investigate. There’s also a campsite area tucked away in there, and I have to say, I just love the simplicity and style of this room. Honestly, this one is a 10 out of 10 for me — everything about it just works beautifully. Moving on to Palace of the Fine Arts, and this one is genuinely stunning. The greenery and overall scenery are absolutely amazing, and one of the really cool standout features is that you can actually draw on art canvases placed throughout the room. There are also some of the new mannequins being used here, along with some lovely particle effects that add a really polished finish to the space. The creator has done a wonderful job with this one, and the attention to detail really shows. Up next is Block Blast, and I was already loving it from the moment I loaded in. There’s a high scoreboard UI right in front of you as soon as you arrive, which sets the tone perfectly. The gameplay involves selecting and placing blocks together in the right way to get them to explode — it’s a really satisfying little puzzle mechanic. I’ll be honest, I’d never played anything quite like it before, so there was definitely a learning curve, but it’s a very cool room and a fun experience overall. This next room is called Zakania, and it’s such a cosy and immersive build. You’re inside a beautifully detailed building with rain falling outside, a little street visible below, and a charming kitchen complete with plates, knives, forks, and even a pot on the stove that you can give a little stir. There’s also a computer with interactive buttons and a little bed tucked into the space. Heading outside is equally delightful — the rain and the overall atmosphere of this room make it a really standout creation. I love this one a lot. The last room we visited this week is equally impressive. Stepping inside, you’re greeted with a gorgeous kitchen and a lovely little balcony overlooking a beautiful beach. The sky dome looks absolutely incredible, and the outdoor area is just breathtaking. One of the most creative elements of this room is that it appears to be built inside of a statue or figure — you can actually see the hands and the shape of the person when you look around. It’s such a creative and imaginative concept, and it’s a perfect note to end on this week. I genuinely love how creative all of these rooms have been — the Rec Room community never ceases to amaze me. That wraps up this week’s featured rooms! I hope you enjoyed exploring them as much as I did. If you’d like to see the full walkthrough, make sure to check out the video: Featured Rooms Rec Room Reviews.
