Every New Particle In Minecraft Tutorial Wild Update!!
Video Summary
In this video, I show every new Minecraft 1.19 (Wild Update) particle I could find, demonstrated in the Deep Dark for the best atmosphere and visibility. I break down each particle and the exact /particle commands to spawn them, including skulk_charge, skulk_charge_pop, skulk_soul, shriek, and the warden’s sonic boom effect. I also note some particles were covered in my previous video and that these commands may only work on Java Edition. I’ll put all commands in the description and would love to hear if I missed any particles.

Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video. Today I’m going to show you all the new Minecraft 1.19 particles that I could find. I decided to set this in the Deep Dark because it looks incredibly cool—and honestly, pretty scary. I also added some lighting to make everything easier to see.
I’ve split up all the particles like usual. There are a few particles I didn’t include because I already showed them in my last update video—such as vibration. If you want to see those, check out that video (linked in the info card and in the description).
One quick warning: these particle commands might not work on Bedrock Edition. These are for Java Edition. If you want me to make a Bedrock Edition version, leave a like, subscribe, and let me know in the comments.
Sculk Charge
Let’s start with the first one: Sculk Charge. This particle looks really cool. I’m going to set the speed to zero so we can see it clearly.
If you watched my last video, you might remember a weird effect traveling through the sculk. This is what moves through it—almost like it represents the “souls” traveling inside.
One interesting thing about this command is that it uses an additional number value in the particle itself. Changing that number changes the direction and behavior of the particle.
Command:
/particle minecraft:sculk_charge <number> <position> <delta> <speed> <count> force
Make sure you include the underscores—if you forget them, the command won’t work. Also, you must include a number after sculk_charge. It seems like you can use any number (1, 100, 1,000, 10,000, etc.), as long as a number is there.
For position, use coordinates if you have them, or use relative coordinates. The delta values control the spread. If you want a deeper explanation of how particle arguments work, I have tutorial videos linked in the info card and the description.
Sculk Charge Pop
Next up is Sculk Charge Pop. This one matches the “popping” animation you might have noticed before. It almost looks like a tiny firework, and it’s easily one of the coolest particle effects in the game—especially in this Deep Dark atmosphere.
Command:
/particle minecraft:sculk_charge_pop <position> <delta> 0 10 force
I used a speed of 0 so they stay in place, and a count of 10. You can customize the deltas however you want.
Sculk Soul
Now for Sculk Soul. This one looks similar to the soul-like effect you see in the Nether (like the particles around soul-themed visuals). It’s pretty simple to use, just like the others.
Command:
/particle minecraft:sculk_soul <position> <delta> 0 <count> force
I chose delta values of 0 to make it more precise, and speed 0 as well. If you increase the amount, the area fills up with them—and it looks amazing.
Shriek
The next one is Shriek. You’ve probably already seen this effect from the shrieker blocks in the Deep Dark—the ones that are super annoying and basically want to get you killed. While I was recording, I had to remove a bunch of them, and you can still spot one in the background. They’re everywhere.
This particle creates a really cool effect. It’s a circle—which is funny because Minecraft isn’t exactly built around circles—but it still looks awesome. It’s also loud when triggered.
Sonic Boom
The last one is Sonic Boom. This is the effect you get from the Warden when it attacks you from a distance. It looks like a powerful, explosive burst, and it’s one of the most intense-looking effects in the update.
If there are any other particles I missed—or if something I listed is duplicated under a different name—let me know.
Wrapping Up
That’s all the new particles I could find in the update. If I missed any, tell me and I’ll try to add them to the description.
Also, based on your feedback, I heard that you want the commands included in the description—so yes, I’ll be typing all of the commands there.
If you haven’t seen any of my other Wild Update videos, check out the playlist in the description. I’m trying to make a whole bunch because this update is so cool. Thanks so much for watching—make sure to like and subscribe, and I’ll see you in the next video.
