Video Summary
In this video, I showcase all the new particles added in Minecraft 1.19 Wild Update, demonstrating them in the Deep Dark biome for maximum visual effect. I break down each particle including Skulk Charge, Skulk Charge Pop, Skulk Soul, Shriek, and Sonic Boom, providing the command syntax and customization options for each. The commands shown only work on Java Edition, and I encourage viewers to let me know if I missed any particles or if they’d like a Bedrock Edition version.

Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap and welcome back to another video! Today I’m going to be showing you all the new Minecraft 1.19 particles that I could find. I thought it would be fitting to set this one in the Deep Dark because it looks so incredibly cool and honestly pretty scary too. I added some extra lighting to make everything easier to see, and it just adds to that amazing atmosphere — I can’t wait for you to explore it with me! If you’d prefer to watch the video version of this tutorial, you can check it out here: Every New Particle In Minecraft Tutorial Wild Update!! You’ll notice I’ve split up all the particles just like usual. There are a few particles I haven’t included here because I covered them in my last update video — such as the vibration particle. If you’d like to see those, make sure to check out that video which is linked in the info card and the description over on YouTube. Also, one important thing to keep in mind — these particles will only work on Java Edition. They may not work on Bedrock Edition. If you’d like me to make a Bedrock Edition version of this tutorial, please leave a like, subscribe, and let me know in the comments — I’d be more than happy to make one! The first particle is called the Skulk Charge and it is really cool. In my last video I showed that weird effect that travels through the Skulk, and this is actually what crawls through it — these are the souls moving along the surface. One really interesting thing about this particle’s command is that it uses an additional number in the system, and that number actually changes the direction the particle travels in. It’s a unique little quirk that makes it really fun to play around with. The particle command for this one is: Don’t forget the underscores — if you leave them out the command will not work. The number after skulk_charge can be any value you like; whether it’s 2, 100, or even 10,000, just make sure there is a number there. You can use your specific coordinates for position or use relative positioning with the tilde (~) notation. The delta values control the spread of the particle, so playing around with those will give you some really interesting results. Next up is the Skulk Charge Pop — and the name honestly makes a lot of sense. This produces that satisfying little popping animation that I showed in my previous Wild Update video. It looks almost like a miniature firework, and I absolutely love it. These particles are honestly some of the coolest in the entire game, especially in the Deep Dark atmosphere. The command for the Skulk Charge Pop is: I set the speed to zero to keep them in place and used a count of 10. Everything is really customizable so feel free to tweak the delta values and count to get the look you want. Minecraft 1.19 is just so cool! The Skulk Soul particle is next, and it looks almost identical to the soul effect you see when walking around in the Nether with enchanted boots. It’s a really satisfying and fitting effect given the deep, eerie atmosphere of the Deep Dark biome. The command for this one is: I set the speed to zero to keep things specific and used a count of 10. When you increase the count you get a lot of them appearing at once — and honestly, it looks absolutely incredible. Give it a try! Now for the Shriek particle — and if you’ve spent any time in the Deep Dark, you’ve definitely seen this one in action. It’s produced by the Sculk Shriekers, which are super annoying and just want to cause you trouble at every turn. Before even making this video, I was walking around and had to deal with about seven of them — they truly are everywhere and they are absolutely trying to make your life difficult! Despite that, I actually love the particle it produces. Even though Minecraft isn’t really made of circles, this circular particle effect looks genuinely awesome. The final particle I want to cover is the Sonic Boom. This is the dramatic effect produced by the Warden when it attacks you from a distance, and it looks like a really impressive explosion effect. It perfectly suits the terrifying nature of the Warden, and it’s one of those particles that just looks brilliant in motion. Based on your feedback, I’ve made sure to include all of the particle commands in the description over on the YouTube video so you can easily copy and paste them. Head over there to grab them all! That covers all the new particles I could find in the Minecraft 1.19 Wild Update! If you think I’ve missed any, please let me know in the comments and I’ll do my best to add them. If you haven’t seen my other Wild Update videos yet, make sure to check out the playlist linked in the YouTube description — I’m working hard to cover as much of this amazing update as possible because it really is something special.
