So I Broke Minecraft Mobs Again…

Video Summary
In this video, I messed up a bunch of Minecraft mobs and made them look hilariously broken, especially foxes. I show how to do it super easily using a command block with the /playanimation command (Bedrock/MCPE only, not Java). Some animations work weirdly on other mobs and won’t affect the player, but the results are really funny. To fix everything, just remove the command block and rejoin the world.

Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back.

I may have messed up a lot of mobs in Minecraft—and honestly, they look hilarious. Even the foxes. Oh my goodness.

Today I’m going to show you how to do this in Minecraft, and trust me: it’s super simple.

Unfortunately, this isn’t available on Java Edition. It only works on Bedrock Edition and MCPE.

Setting Up the Command Block

First, place a command block.

In the command block, type:

/playanimation

Then use:

animation.fox

And then:

sleep

Setting the Duration

Next is the duration. I’m going to set it to 100, but you can use whatever value you want.

Set the command block to Repeat and Chain.

As soon as you exit the command block, you’ll notice all the mobs suddenly go into a really weird pose.

What This Command Is Doing

This uses the fox sleep/sit animation. Normally, when a fox goes to sleep or sits, it plays a specific animation—but applying that animation more broadly makes other mobs behave in strange ways.

And… yeah—what happened to this chicken? Oh no. What has happened?

As you can see, it doesn’t work properly with a lot of other mobs, and it doesn’t work on the player either.

Trying Different Animations

You can also change the animation to something else. For example, if you switch the command to use the fox sleep animation again and run it, everything can end up sideways—and the heads don’t really work properly either.

How to Fix It

If you want to get out of that weird position, all you have to do is delete the command block, then leave the world and join back.

It’s really, really funny.

Thank you so much for watching, and I can’t wait to see you in the next video.
