This Week’s Featured VR Room Creations | Rec Room Featured Rooms

Hey everybody, it’s Under My Cap and if it’s Tuesday, it’s featured rooms day! So let’s dive into this week’s featured rooms. By the way, there are a lot of scary AI rooms coming up, and I’ll be honest — I don’t like scary rooms. But we’ll get through them together!

☁️ Clouds Gazen Plaza

The first room we visited is called Clouds Gazen Plaza, and it is actually so cool. There’s an awesome background, a beautiful water fountain, and the decorations are just incredible everywhere. There are even some fun facts about fruits scattered around the room — like twin pear fruits! I’m not sure that’s a real fruit, but it’s still super creative and cool. And seriously, the flowers in this room are like the size of your head — really impressive. There are even some swings in the room which is a lovely touch. Overall, I’d give this room a solid 8 out of 10 — a really well put together space!

👻 Spirit Link

The next room we visited is called Spirit Link, and to be honest, it is looking very spooky. There are some really cute cats and dogs in the room which softens the atmosphere a little, but there is some genuinely freaky background music and some unsettling flashing effects. I’ll be upfront — this room actually scared me quite a bit! It appears to be a kind of spirit board experience where you ask questions and receive answers, which is a very creative concept. I asked “Are you a ghost?” and got a response, which was equal parts cool and creepy. This room is very well made and if you’d like to see me play through it properly, make sure to leave a like, subscribe, and drop a comment letting me know!

🏚️ Echo Haunt

The next room we jumped into is called Echo Haunt, and wow — this one really got me. As soon as I joined, there was a loud smashing sound that completely caught me off guard. There was only one button to open a door, and I already had a feeling about what was waiting on the other side. I will say, I am genuinely not great with horror at all, and this room did not hold back! There was something mysterious happening in the house behind me with loud crashing sounds, and I honestly could not bring myself to go any further in. It is a fantastic and well-crafted room — just a little too scary for me right now! If you’d like to see me take on this one properly, drop a comment and let me know.

🎉 Drop Party

After all that horror, it was time to switch things up with something much more positive — Drop Party! This one looked really fun. It was a little glitchy on my end when I first dropped in, but the room itself is set up really well. You can even see little avatar icons in the room, which is a really cool touch. A very enjoyable and well-designed space overall!

🍕 Pizza Planet

The final room we explored this week is called Pizza Planet, and this one is genuinely awesome. It uses game AI to generate random customer orders, which makes the whole experience feel dynamic and fun. I had my first customer come in and got straight to work — grabbing the dough, placing it on the station, adding toppings like black olives and mushrooms, and then cooking the pizza in the oven. It is a really immersive and entertaining experience. I ended up scoring 66% on my first pizza, which honestly isn’t too bad for a first attempt! This room is so well made that I think I might actually make a full dedicated video on it — so stay tuned for that!

That wraps up this week’s featured rooms in Rec Room! We had everything from beautiful scenic plazas and spine-chilling horror experiences to fun party games and creative pizza-making simulators.
