Every New Particle In Minecraft Bedrock (MCPE) Tutorial Wild Update!!

Video Summary

In this tutorial, I showcase all the new 1.9 particles from the Wild Update in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, including skull sensor redstone, soul, shriek, skull charge, and warden dig particles. I walk through each particle effect using commands and explain how to enable the Wild Update through experiments settings, though I note that some particles like the sonic explosion unfortunately aren’t available in Bedrock Edition yet. Thanks to all the support and help from my community in finding these particles!

Every New Particle In Minecraft Bedrock (MCPE) – Wild Update Tutorial

Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap and welcome back to another video! Today I’m in Bedrock and I’m going to be showing you all the new 1.19 particles. This was highly requested by all of you, so thank you so much for all your support and thank you all for really helping me try to find all of these. Now, unfortunately a few of these particles are unavailable on Bedrock Edition from Java Edition, but I’m trying to show you as much as I can. I have literally been researching for hours — looking through folders, texture packs, wikis, comments, and everything in between — and these are all the ones I’ve been able to find.

How To Access The Wild Update Particles

To actually get these particles and access the Wild Update content, you currently have to go into your settings and scroll all the way down to where it says Experiments, then enable the Wild Update option. Once you turn that on, you should be able to use all of the particles shown below. Keep in mind that in future updates this experimental toggle will no longer be necessary, but for now make sure you check that setting before getting started!

The New Wild Update Particles

1. Minecraft Skull Sensor Redstone Particle

The first particle is the minecraft:sculk_sensor_redstone particle. This is quite a long name to start off with, but this is the actual particle that appears when you activate a Sculk Sensor. It’s a really satisfying effect and a great way to kick things off!

2. Skull Soul Particle

The next one is the Skull Soul particle, and this one looks really cool. It pops up with a little soul effect, which was also seen in the Java Edition version. On Bedrock, it seems to have a smoother movement to it, which makes it look even better. It’s definitely one of my favourites from this list!

3. Shriek Particle

Moving on, we have the Shriek particle — this is the effect that comes out of a Sculk Shrieker. One interesting quirk about Bedrock Edition is that when you spawn it in, you may not be able to see it straight away. That’s because you actually have to view it at an angle, which is a little different from how it behaves in Java Edition. It’s a bit of a unique characteristic of the Bedrock version, but once you get the right angle it looks great!

4. Skull Charge Particle

Next up is the Skull Charge particle, which is really cool. This is the little blob that pops out of the ground when Sculk blocks are being formed from a Sculk Catalyst. They’re very quick and snappy, giving a really satisfying visual effect every time.

5. Skull Charge Pop Particle

You probably already guessed what comes after the Skull Charge — it’s the Skull Charge Pop particle! This one gives you a lovely little bubble pop effect. It looks so cool and is a really fun particle to play around with.

6. Sonic Explosion Particle (Currently Unavailable)

Now, unfortunately, this is the one many of you have been waiting for — and I’m so sorry to say that it currently doesn’t work on Bedrock Edition. I spent a long time searching through Google, wikis, files, and everything I could find, and the Sonic Explosion particle — which should produce that awesome blue effect — just isn’t functioning at this time. If you manage to find this particle, please drop it in the comments below and I’ll make sure to pin it so everyone can see. I truly tried my hardest to find it!

7. Warden Dig Particle

Last but certainly not least, we have the Warden Dig particle, and I have to say this one is really impressive. This is the effect you get when the Warden begins to dig into or emerge from the ground. What makes this particle especially cool is that it doesn’t just last for a second — it actually continues for around 5 seconds, functioning almost like a particle emitter. If you place it on the ground it genuinely looks like something is coming up out of the earth. It’s an amazing touch of detail!
