Video Summary
In this video, I showcase the Furniture addon for Minecraft Bedrock, which is currently available for free with the Marketplace Pass. The addon includes an enormous variety of decorative and interactive items such as beds, chairs, tables, cauldrons, water wheels, bongos, telescopes, and plushies that can be used to decorate and customize your world. I demonstrate many of these features by placing items throughout a village, highlighting how interactive elements like the water wheel, bongos, and fish tank make this addon worth getting if you enjoy building and decorating.
BEST Furniture Add-On: Must-Have Add-Ons For Your Minecraft World
Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap and welcome back! Today we’re diving into the Furniture Add-On for Minecraft Bedrock — and if you currently have the Marketplace Pass, this add-on is available for free right now! Without further ado, let’s jump in and see exactly what this incredible add-on is all about.
What Is the Furniture Add-On?
The Furniture Add-On is made by XP Games and introduces an absolutely massive range of decorative and interactive furniture pieces into your Minecraft Bedrock world. When you first spawn in, you’re greeted with a welcome book that walks you through crafting furniture and points you toward a Furniture Merchant — who may very well work like a travelling merchant — so make sure you don’t miss his trades! From wide beds, tables, chairs, stools, and sofas, to water wheels, bongos, telescopes, and even bee plushies, the sheer variety on offer is genuinely impressive.
Exploring the Add-On: So Much to Discover
Opening up the inventory for the first time, you might not notice too much of a difference at first glance — but scroll down and things get very exciting very quickly. There are pink double curtains, fancy queen-size beds, copper cauldrons, decorated wallpaper, water wheels, bongos, plushies, lamps, chicken nests, grow lamps, stone stoves, tool racks, globes, triangle roofs, windmills, scarecrows, rocking chairs, grandfather clocks, metal chandeliers, compasses, telescopes, and so much more. It’s genuinely hard to keep up with everything on offer, which honestly is a great problem to have!
Interactive Elements That Make It Special
One of the most exciting aspects of this add-on is just how many interactive elements it includes. The copper cauldron can be filled with water, and — perhaps most amazingly — you can actually place fish inside it, which changes their behaviour and even their colour. The water wheel spins when placed next to flowing water, and the animation on it looks absolutely fantastic. The globe can actually spin around when you interact with it, which is such a thoughtful little touch. The bongos play actual sounds when you interact with them — which is honestly worth every Minecoin on its own! Even the bee plushie squeaks when you interact with it, and the chicken nest has a chicken that actually sits on it when placed nearby. These small details really do elevate the add-on to something special.
Decorating a Villager House
To really put the add-on through its paces, I had a go at decorating one of the villager houses in a nearby village. I added a hanging sign out the front, placed a cyan sofa inside, put some placeable salad on top of a chest (the villagers are clearly all vegetarian!), dropped in a massive grandfather clock, and even ended up with a bit of a bee plushie infestation. I also transformed one of the houses into a windmill house using the windmill block, which turned out looking absolutely nuts — in the best possible way. The scarecrow also made an appearance outside, where a creeper seemed to give it a little kiss rather than being scared off, which was honestly hilarious.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I have to say that this add-on is absolutely worth it. If you’re into decorating your Minecraft world, this is a must-have. There are so many interactive elements, so much variety, and so many creative possibilities that I honestly think a full in-depth video is needed to do it proper justice — so stay tuned for that! If you’d like to watch the full video walkthrough, you can check it out below. If you’re interested in grabbing the add-on for yourself, head to the Minecraft Marketplace — and if you have the Marketplace Pass, you can get it for free right now. Have an awesome day, and I’ll see you in the next one!
