How To Get And Use The Minecraft Barrier Block! Minecraft Tutorial! Java and Bedrock!!!

Hey everyone, it’s UnderMyCat, and welcome back to another video. Today I’m going to show you how to get the Barrier block in Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition.

What Is the Barrier Block?

The Barrier block is a really useful block because it’s unbreakable and great for building invisible walls and boundaries.

How to Get the Barrier Block (Java & Bedrock)

Getting it is super simple. Just type this command:

/give @s barrier

This works on both Java and Bedrock Edition. The command interface might look a little different in Bedrock, but the command is the same. After you run it, you’ll receive the Barrier block in your inventory.

How the Barrier Block Works

Once placed, the Barrier block prevents you from moving through it. If you try to walk or jump through it, you won’t be able to pass.

In Survival mode, you also can’t break it.

Why You Can’t See It in Survival Mode

In Survival mode, the Barrier block is invisible. Even if you’re standing right next to it, you won’t be able to see it, and holding the item won’t make it appear. However, the block is still there—you still won’t be able to walk through it or break it.
