This week's Featured Rooms inside of Rec Room VR PT2

Video Summary
I thought I missed half of this week’s Featured Rooms in Rec Room VR, so I’m checking out the rest. I jump into Asylum Decay, a spooky chapter-based room where you collect code parts to escape, and I’d love to play more if you all want it. Then I explore Calaria and NRD Inc. Studio, both super cozy and visually impressive with great atmosphere and creative asset use. I end with “You are USA,” which looks awesome but feels held back by too many paywalled features.

Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap. You probably thought I missed half of the featured rooms this week—and I did. Today, though, we’re going through the rest of the featured rooms. So, without further ado, let’s dive straight in.

Asylum Decay

The first room on our list is Asylum Decay. Let’s go straight in.

It looks like there’s a small starting room, which is a really cool touch. When you enter, there’s a character sitting behind a desk, setting the scene right away. Let’s keep moving and see what’s next.

As the room loads in, it rolls into Chapter One, and the atmosphere immediately feels spooky. The objective is clear: collect all the parts of the code to escape.

If you want me to fully play through this room, definitely leave a comment—because this feels like an actual full game, not just a quick showcase.

A Calaria

Next up is A Calaria, and this one is really cool.

For some reason I feel like I’ve been shrunk down a bit, but it works with the vibe of the space. It’s a cozy room with a hammock, some chess pieces, and a laid-back hangout atmosphere. There are even butterflies around, which looks great—although it does lag my game a little.

Still, the overall design is awesome. I love how the creator used studio assets and built everything into a charming, cozy environment.

NRD Inc. Studio

The next room is NRD Inc. Studio, and honestly, this might be my favorite of the bunch.

It’s genuinely stunning. The room has a cozy picnic area, a peaceful atmosphere, and a super polished look. There’s also a house nearby, and the whole setting feels like it’s been carefully crafted to give off a relaxed, warm vibe.

Even the trees are impressive—some of them have small star details on them, which looks amazing. I tried to get into the house because it feels like you should be able to, but it looks empty, and I couldn’t really explore inside. I really wish you could go in, because that would take the room to another level.

Even so, the effort here is easily a 10/10. The vibe is excellent, and the environment looks incredible.

You Are USA

The last room is one I’m not totally sure how to pronounce, but I’m going to call it You Are USA.

This one is cool too, and it has a similar style to the previous room. The tiling and detailing on the buildings stands out immediately, and it’s another great example of how creative you can be on this platform.

When you explore a bit, you’ll find a small shop selling hoodies—basic colors and a few printed designs. There are also swords available, but it looks like you have to pay for them.

I’ll be honest: this room would be even better if more of the features weren’t paywalled. Still, it’s a solid environment with some nice touches, including a mirror and a cool jetty area that feels like the end of the walkthrough.

Overall, a really cool room.

If you enjoyed this, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe—it would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to leave a comment too if you have feedback or want to see a full playthrough of any of these rooms.

I hope you all have an awesome day. Remember to stay creative, and I’ll see you in the next video. See you!
