Video Summary
This week I showcased an incredible variety of VR art creations from the Rec Room Gallery, featuring everything from detailed weapons and custom robots to an animated bird feeder, a full drum set, spooky horror-themed creations, and character designs. The gallery included handdrawn canvases, detailed vehicles like a red truck with working interiors, pixel art, and creative builds like ruins and detailed houses. I was amazed by the creativity and detail throughout, and I encourage everyone to keep creating awesome content in Rec Room.

If you haven’t already, you can watch the full video here: Watch on YouTube This week’s featured art gallery inside Rec Room is absolutely packed with incredible creations, and I am so excited to walk you through some of the most creative and impressive pieces on display. From tiny detailed weapons to animated bird feeders, the talent inside this community never ceases to amaze me. Let’s dive right in! First up, we’re starting off with some really cool small items. The first piece is by Dude Man VR, and it is such a cool weapon — honestly wow-worthy from the moment you lay eyes on it. Right next to it is a fantastic little custom robot made by Kuck. Just look at that little eyeball and the antenna detail — it is so incredibly cool and shows just how much creativity goes into these builds. Now this one is by far one of the coolest things I have seen in the gallery. This piece by Turn is an animated bird feeder, and you can see all these little hummingbirds — or honey eaters, I’m not entirely sure — but they are absolutely stunning. The animation, the detail, the creativity — I love this so much. It is without a doubt one of the most creative pieces in this week’s showcase. Next up we have a really cool guitar by Q.PO — it’s a thick guitar, but those strings are wonderfully detailed and it is a very impressive build. Following that, there are these awesome little items that look like Nerf guns — the trigger detail and overall finish on them are fantastic. I’m not sure exactly what they’re from, but they look amazing. And then — wow — we have a full drum set, complete with cymbals, drums, and foot pedals, all built inside Rec Room. This incredible creation is by Crizz, and sitting down behind it really gives you a sense of just how detailed and well-crafted the whole thing is. Moving into the spooky section of the gallery — and yes, even the lighting changes to set the mood — things get wonderfully eerie. There is a very spooky creation by Wreck Oro that I would genuinely love to see featured in a horror game. It is that good. Then there is another creepy piece by C0 that actually makes a sound — and honestly, it nearly jump scared me! That is so creative and so well done. Full credit to both of these creators for delivering something truly spine-chilling. We also have a wonderfully detailed Sonic creation by Hyperficial — the face detail on this one is just incredible. Nearby there is also a gorgeous pixel art heart, which the creator has listed as “heart pixel art” — I personally would have called it a pixel heart, but either way it is super cool! And then there is what I believe is a Ghost Cake from Adventure Time, which brought back so many memories. I haven’t seen that show in forever, but seeing it recreated in Rec Room like this is just wonderful. There is a really cool ice staff on display, created by Steam Bread — very nicely done. And then, one of my absolute favourite pieces in the whole gallery: a little character — I think it is the blue one from a game I have actually been wanting to play for a while. I have seen so many clips online about the purple version of this character, and seeing it recreated here is just awesome. Very, very cool. There is also the Pummer logo on display, which ties into a real collaboration that happened inside Rec Room — very exciting to see that represented in the gallery. From there, we move into what appears to be a canvas art section, featuring some beautifully hand-drawn pieces. I can’t guarantee they are all hand-drawn, as I imagine there may be ways to print inside Rec Room, but they look incredible either way. There is a massive roomy robot that I absolutely love, as well as a detailed red truck that you can actually hop inside — mirrors and all. The level of detail on the interior of that car is just brilliant. That creation is a real highlight. Wrapping up this week’s showcase, we have some beautiful ruins by IRL R. — very atmospheric and creative. And finally, there is an adorable little animated house, complete with buttons and bookshelves, that is just so charming and imaginative. It is a wonderful way to close out the gallery for the week. The creativity on display inside the Rec Room gallery week after week is truly something special. Every single creator featured this week has put real thought, skill, and passion into their work, and it is such a joy to be able to share these with you all.
