Prizma Visuals Minecraft Review!

Video Summary
In my latest video, I dive into Minecraft Bedrock to review the Prizma Visuals plugin and see if it’s worth the hype compared to other packs like Actions & Stuff. At first it felt mostly vanilla with small texture and animation tweaks, but turning on Vibrant Visuals made everything look dramatically shinier, foggier, and almost 3D with reflective blocks and glassy water. I’m still unsure what changes are from the pack versus Vibrant Visuals, especially for the price (about $15 AUD), but overall it looks really cool. Hey everybody, it’s Under My Cap, and welcome back. Today we’re diving into Minecraft Bedrock with an awesome add-on called Prisma Visuals. This pack seems to compete directly with other popular animation/visual packs, so we’re going to see whether it’s actually worth the hype.

First Impressions: A Mostly Vanilla Look

Right away, you can see it keeps a lot of the game looking fairly vanilla, which is honestly pretty cool. Mobs have a little more bounce to them, and I’m currently sliding all over the ice—but let’s do a deeper dive.

Inventory Check: Subtle Changes

Let’s jump into the inventory. At first glance, everything looks almost identical. Although—wait—this is a brand-new update, isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve seen copper bars look like that before. Still, I’m guessing the biggest improvements will be in mob visuals, so let’s check spawn eggs next.

Testing Mobs: Animations and Texture Differences

I’m going to spawn a bunch of random animals to see what changes stand out.

Here’s a cow—and it’s brown. I think that’s different. The movement looks different too, but the eyes don’t move the way they do in some other animation packs. That makes me think Prisma Visuals is aiming to stay closer to vanilla Minecraft.

I’m also noticing a slight purple tint across the world. And—okay, look at this snow fox. That’s actually kind of cool. The texture looks changed, but I can’t tell if that’s something Mojang updated or if it’s coming from this pack.

Also, doing all of this on ice probably isn’t the best idea, so let’s move somewhere else.

World Textures: Definitely Different

Now that we’re off the ice, it’s clearer: this is definitely a texture change. Those trees look 100% different, and the leaves do too. Even the ferns look noticeably different. So overall, the game looks slightly altered across a lot of surfaces.

If we look closely at the dirt and grass, it’s subtly different—there’s some kind of tint or shift going on. The question is: is it worth paying money for it? The overall style still feels pretty close to vanilla.

At this point, I’m wondering what the pack is really aiming for. Is it supposed to look more realistic? Because, for example, the cats have always looked similar to this. The walking animation is different, though.

Even my character animation feels different—almost like a little flinch whenever I switch items. Movement doesn’t feel as smooth as some other packs, but it still looks okay.

Honestly, I was expecting something more shader-like. Unless I’m supposed to use this with Vibrant Visuals. Maybe that’s the intended setup.

Turning On Vibrant Visuals

Alright, let’s switch Vibrant Visuals on and see what happens. I don’t think it should change too much, because Vibrant Visuals is technically its own thing—but I want to test it anyway. Just keeping in mind: Vibrant Visuals isn’t necessarily what the pack is doing.

Whoa. Okay. Wow. That is very different.

Now, some of these changes must be coming from the pack, because things look distinctly different—not just lighting. Everything has this 3D-like quality to it. It’s still pixelated, but it feels like it has depth. It’s really foggy too, and I just saw three foxes appear out of nowhere—so let’s head somewhere that isn’t snowy.

Exploring a New Biome: Shiny, Reflective, and “3D”

Okay, here we are—out of the snow. This looks amazing. It genuinely looks amazing.

Part of me thinks I’m just being biased because Vibrant Visuals already makes Minecraft look dramatically better, but the overall look is really nice. Everything looks shiny and reflective.

Let’s place a crafting table to test it. Yep—this is definitely different. A crafting table does not normally look like that. It even looks reflective, which is wild. It’s hard to show properly, but the surface has a shine to it.

Let’s try glowstone too. I’m checking whether it looks 3D, because that’s the vibe I keep getting. And wow—it also looks reflective. That’s really cool.

Water Test: Glassy and Distorted

Now we have to test water, because water usually reveals the biggest changes. Sorry—I grabbed an axolotl bucket by accident.

You can’t really see the water clearly at first, but I think that’s the point. It looks glassy—almost like a sheet of glass.

When you go underwater, everything gets spooky. There’s a weird distorted effect, and it’s hard to tell what you’re looking at at first. But yes—that’s the water. It has waves, and the surface behavior is definitely unusual. It’s cool, but also kind of weird.

Final Thoughts

This pack seems to keep a lot of things similar to vanilla, but adds a shinier, more dimensional look—especially when combined with Vibrant Visuals.

That said, if you’re paying a decent amount for it (I think it’s around 15 Australian dollars), you’d expect a clearer difference right away. And to be completely honest, I still don’t know which features are Prisma Visuals and which are purely Vibrant Visuals.

Either way, this looks really cool. If you enjoyed this review, please leave a like and subscribe. I need to compare this directly against regular Vibrant Visuals to understand what the pack is adding, but overall it does look pretty sick. Have an awesome day, everyone.
