How to Clear/Destroy Land in Bedrock Minecraft on Xbox, PS5, Java PC, Switch and PE With Commands!

Video Summary
In this video I show you how to quickly clear/destroy large areas of land in Bedrock Minecraft on consoles and PE using commands. I first enable “Show Coordinates” in settings and explain that cheats are required, so it won’t work in survival without them. Then I mark two diagonal corners of the area (highest and lowest points), write down both coordinate sets, and use the /fill command with those coordinates to replace everything with air. Once you run it, the entire selected area is instantly cleared for building.

Hey everyone, it’s Undermyap. In this post, I’m going to show you how to destroy and clear massive amounts of land in Minecraft Bedrock Edition (PS4, Xbox, Minecraft PE, and other Bedrock platforms) using commands.

Enable Coordinates (Required)

Before we start, you’ll need to turn on coordinates. This makes the process much easier, because you’ll be using exact coordinate positions for the command.

To enable coordinates:

1) Open Settings
2) Go to the Game tab
3) Scroll down to Show Coordinates
4) Turn it On

Once enabled, your coordinates will appear in the top-left corner.

Important: Cheats Must Be Enabled

You will need cheats enabled for this to work. Unfortunately, this won’t work in a survival world where cheats are disabled.

Choose the Area You Want to Clear

Next, decide what area you want to clear. In my example, I’m clearing a section filled with trees so I can build something, like a house.

You need to select two corners of the area you want to clear. These corners should be diagonal from each other, forming opposite corners of a rectangular (cuboid) selection.

A simple way to do this is to mark:

• One corner at the highest point of the area
• The opposite corner at the lowest point of the area

Write Down Both Sets of Coordinates

Fly to the first corner (for example, the highest point) and write down the coordinates shown on-screen. In my example, the highest point is:

6,114, 74, 173

Then fly to the opposite corner (for example, the lowest point) and write down that set of coordinates as well.

Use the Fill Command to Clear the Area

Now it’s time to clear the land. Open the chat/command input and use the /fill command with the two coordinate sets.

It doesn’t matter which corner you enter first—the selection will be the same.

Your command format should look like this:

/fill x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 air

Be absolutely sure your coordinates are correct before you run the command, because you cannot undo it.

Once you press enter, the entire selected area will be replaced with air, effectively clearing everything in that space.

That’s It

And that’s how you clear massive areas in Minecraft Bedrock Edition using commands. Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you next time.
