How To Breed Allays In Minecraft Bedrock And Java!

Video Summary

In this video, I show you how to duplicate Allays in Minecraft on both Bedrock and Java Edition using a simple process: place a jukebox with a music disc to make the Allays dance, then click on them with an amethyst shard to duplicate them. The duplication has a cooldown period and doesn’t duplicate the items the Allays are holding, but it’s an easy way to multiply your Allays.

How To Breed Allays In Minecraft Bedrock And Java!

Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap and welcome back to another video! Today I’m going to be showing you how to duplicate Allays in Minecraft. This is super simple and it works on both Bedrock and Java Edition!

What You Need

All you need for this process is just four things — an Amethyst Shard, an Allay, a Jukebox, and a Music Disc. That’s it! With just these four items you’ll be duplicating Allays in no time.

Step-By-Step: How To Duplicate Allays

Step 1: Prepare Your Allay

First of all, spawn your Allay and make sure it is holding an item. You can give it anything to hold — for this example I gave mine an axe just to confirm it was holding onto something. You’ll be able to see the item in its hand once it’s holding it.

Step 2: Set Up Your Jukebox

Next, place your Jukebox down and insert a Music Disc into it. If you noticed in the Minecraft Live trailer, Allays react to music — and sure enough, once the music starts playing you’ll see your Allay begin to spin and dance. That’s your cue!

Step 3: Use Your Amethyst Shard

Once your Allay starts dancing, simply click on it with your Amethyst Shard and you’ll notice that it duplicates! It’s worth noting that the duplicate Allay will not carry over any items from the original, so keep that in mind. Also, you only need one Allay to start this whole process.

The Cooldown

There is a cooldown between duplications, so you won’t be able to constantly keep duplicating them back to back. The cooldown is around a minute or so, but once it’s up you’re free to duplicate again!

Final Thoughts

And that’s really all there is to it! Duplicating Allays in Minecraft is a wonderfully simple process that works on both Bedrock and Java Edition.
